What guests usually want to know before they book. The amounts, times and numbers below come from our own records and change along with them.
Booking and payment
Am I booking directly with the owners?
Yes. You pick your dates, fill in your details and pay on this site. There's no platform in between, so no service fee is added.
What does a night cost?
From €76 a night. What you pay depends on the house and on the season; as soon as you pick your dates the total is on screen.
What's included in the amount I see?
The rent and the final cleaning, added together. Nothing is added at checkout.
How much is the final cleaning?
Between €75 and €110 per stay, depending on the house. It's already in the total you see with your dates.
When do I pay?
In 3 instalments: part when you book, the rest in the run-up to your arrival. The full breakdown is on the terms page.
Can I cancel?
Free cancellation up to 10 days before arrival. The deposit is not refunded.
Are pets allowed in the houses in Albir?
Pets are not allowed in any of the four properties in Albir (Capitollo, Town House, Brisa, Los Alamos). This applies to all animals, such as dogs, cats and also rabbits, for example.
Is a security deposit required?
No security deposit is required.
Can an extra guest be added beyond the maximum number of people, for example an extra child on a sofa bed?
It's not possible to add extra guests beyond the maximum number of people allowed for the property, not even on a sofa bed. A cot can be booked separately though (see the question about cots).
Can I check in earlier or check out later than the fixed times?
Early check-in or late check-out is sometimes possible, depending on the departure and arrival times of other guests around your stay. This is discussed and arranged directly with you; there's no fixed fee for this.
Is smoking allowed in the house?
Smoking is not allowed inside the houses. You're welcome to smoke on the terrace. This applies to all five houses.
Are parties or events allowed, and are there any quiet hours?
Parties and events are not allowed in the houses. After 23:00 no loud music may be played.
The houses
What's the minimum number of nights?
It depends on the period: between 3 and 7 nights. When you pick your dates you'll see what applies to that period.
How many of us can come?
The smallest house sleeps 4, the largest 6. Each house lists how many bedrooms and bathrooms it has.
Is there wifi?
Yes, all the houses have internet.
Is there parking available at the property?
At Capitollo there's a covered parking garage in the basement. Town House comes with its own parking spot and garage. At Brisa you park on the street. At Los Alamos there's a free underground garage on the grounds.
Is there a pool?
Yes, the four properties in Albir share a pool.
Is the pool open all year round, and is it heated?
The pool is open all year round. The pool isn't heated.
Are bed linen and towels included?
Yes, bed linen and towels are included with every property.
Is a cot or high chair available?
Yes, a cot (with a small mattress and sheets) and a highchair are available. Please reserve them in advance; together they cost € 25 per stay, since we pick them up and return them.
Is a mid-stay cleaning possible for longer stays?
Yes, that's possible, no matter how long you stay. We charge €15 per hour, with a minimum of three hours. Just let us know what time suits you, and we'll arrange it.
Is the property accessible for guests with limited mobility?
Capitollo, Brisa and Los Alamos are all right by a lift, so they're easy to get to. Town House spans several floors and has no lift; if you have trouble with stairs, you're better off choosing one of the other three.
Arrival and departure
What time can I check in and out?
Check-in from 16:00, check-out by 10:00. That's local time at the house.
Do I have to send details before arrival?
Yes. Before you arrive you get a check-in link where you fill in who's coming; a photo of your passport fills in the fields for you. The law requires us to register every guest with the authorities, and that goes through SES.HOSPEDAJES. There's nothing left to do on arrival.
How do I get the key on arrival?
At our homes in Albir, we welcome you in person on arrival and hand you the key.
Is there a contact person or emergency number during my stay?
If you have any problems with the house during your stay, you can call Saskia on 06-47895926. In a real emergency (fire, accident), always call 112.
How far is the property from Alicante airport?
Alicante-Elche airport is about 55 km from Albir, roughly 45 to 55 minutes by car.
